The Minnesota Council for Exceptional Children
an organization of over 700 members
As a member you are part of the leading international association that has been helping students with exceptionalities and the individuals who serve them since 1922. You benefit from the endless work of the advocates to expand services and opportunities for every child and every individual involved in the field of special education. You share in the ongoing campaign to advance the field of special education. This includes enlightening the education community and making the public aware of special education teaching conditions and the effect this environment has on the education of all students. Journals, newsletter, conferences, workshops and other professional development activities promote discussions and networking opportunities to bring you closer with experts and professional peers.
Due to low registration the annual conference sponsored by the Minnesota Council for Exceptional Children has been cancelled. The conference was scheduled for March 28 of this year. We thank those of you who have supported the conference as attendees, presenters, and as administrators who have sent faculty. The MNCEC board has taken this as an indication that times are changing and the board is exploring other conference formats for serving our members.
